'Recalibration' Guided Meditation

Here is a 13 min guided meditation which is an invitation to catch our breath if we are feeling whisked away in the dance of the swell of life’s waters.

In this recording, we create space together to sit and BE in ‘what is’, feel the feels then bring awareness to the breath to return back home to the body and into the heart space.

There is a super beautiful neuro-vascular holding point that we explore also (kinesiology exercise) to ease the fight, flight and freeze response.

The intention behind this meditation is for it to be a ‘life raft’ when we may be experiencing overwhelm and need to come back to our bodies and have greater clarity about how to respond rather than react.

'Recalibration' Guided Meditation

Here is 9 min guided meditation to invite us to step into the present moment to recalibrate, recentre and rejuvenate.

At times with the natural flow of our human experience, we can feel toppled over by life’s ebb and flow of the tide, the rising and falling of the swell or the crashing down of waves.

If we can welcome one conscious deep breath deep into the belly, we can start to tap into the golden present moment.

In this space we can feel more empowered to choose how to respond to life and it’s kaleidoscopic nature instead of being whisked away in reacting.

Annnnnd we will be whisked away at times…perhaps the journey is how to compassionately come back to our centre point and integrate the lessons and gifts from the ‘toppling over’ adventure. 

More about that deep breath (welcome a deep breath in and out through the nose with me now…)

This deep breath activates more of the ‘rest and digest’ part of our nervous system.

We nudge the brain to ‘chill out’ on producing stress hormones of cortisol and adrenaline and increase the ‘feel good’ hormones of dopamine and serotonin. 

That deep breath connects us to the interconnective symbiotic relationship of nature ~ that oxygen that we are breathing in is from plant life around us and the carbon dioxide we breathe out is the ‘breath in’ for the plant life.

A sweet reminder that we too are nature.

We then ‘catch a wave’ with the breath, check in with ourselves and loving bring awareness to what is truly going on for us deep down.
